• to boost Europe's innovation capacity, competitiveness and jobs

• to deliver on citizens' priorities and sustain our socio-economic model and values

• economic recovery

• green and digital transitions

• tackling global challenges to improve the quality of our daily lives

• innovation performance, notably market-creating innovation (from lab to real world) via the European Innovation Council and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology
